Representatives of Youth MRF participated in Young Elected Liberal Leaders Summit 2022

Representatives of Youth MRF participated in Young Elected Liberal Leaders Summit 2022. This time the event took place at The European Summit of regions and cities in Marseille, France, 3-4 March 2022.

The Summit is a gathering of local representatives organised every two years by the European Committee of the Regions to discuss the EU's future challenges.

The agenda of the Summit was dominated by The Conference on the Future of Europe, war in Ukraine and issues critical to developing the European Union’s resilience. There was universal solidarity for Ukraine, with pledges of humanitarian aid to the citizens of Ukraine refugees and support for Ukraine’s local and regional administrations.

With the support of the French hosts and co-organisers, youth representatives had the opportunity to discuss new ways of cooperation for the sustainable future.

Participants from Youth MRF were PhD. Suzan Aliosmanova - Regional Chairman of Youth MRF for Targovishte Province and eng. Ahmed Mehmedov - Deputy Mayor of Sevlievo Municipality.
